How long does door refinishing take?
Most jobs are completed in a single day. We arrive, remove the door, chemically strip it down to bare wood, sand it, apply your chosen stain, and finish with four coats of marine-grade spar urethane. The door is rehung before we leave.
What's the difference between restoration and refinishing?
Restoration ($99) is for doors showing minor wear — light scuffs, fading, or surface damage. We clean, sand lightly, and apply a fresh protective coat.
Refinishing ($199) is a complete process — we strip the door down to bare wood, sand thoroughly, apply new stain, and finish with four protective coats. Best for heavily weathered or damaged doors.

Do I need to be home during the refinishing?
Yes, someone should be home since we remove the door from its hinges. We immediately install a fitted drop cloth over the entry way to keep your home comfortable and secure while we work.
Can you match my existing door stain color?
Yes! We bring a large stain sample book to every job. We discuss your color options before starting and match as closely as possible to your preference. We can also suggest colors that complement your home's exterior.
Do you refinish double doors?
Absolutely. Double door pricing is simply per-door — so a double door restoration is $198 (2 × $99) and a double door refinish is $398 (2 × $199). Double door weatherstripping is $150.
What is the Executive Package?
The Executive Package ($299) is our most comprehensive service. It includes full refinishing, weatherstripping, back door maintenance, and premium protective coating. It also comes with annual door maintenance at $49/year (normally $99/year) locked in for 3 years.
Does door refinishing come with a warranty?
Yes. Every door refinishing job comes with a 1-year warranty. Extended warranty options are available up to 4 years. We also offer annual maintenance plans to keep your door looking great long-term.
